SIUN Foundation Inc. is a Georgia nonprofit organization and 501(c)(3) public charity advancing integrated, community-centered development through land restoration, food systems, education, workforce pathways, sustainable housing, wellness, and economic opportunity.
Our Story
The vision for SIUN began in 2019 with a commitment to address the interconnected challenges affecting people, land, and communities. SIUN Foundation Inc. was legally incorporated in Georgia on September 18, 2024, transforming that vision into a formal public-benefit organization positioned to create lasting community impact.
SIUN was founded on the understanding that food access, education, employment, housing, wellness, and economic stability are deeply connected. Sustainable progress requires more than isolated programs. It requires coordinated systems that recognize existing community strengths while addressing the barriers that prevent individuals and families from thriving.
Through collaboration with farmers, landowners, agricultural producers, educators, workforce partners, builders, service providers, community organizations, and supporters, SIUN develops practical initiatives that restore underutilized land, strengthen resilient food systems, expand access to education and skilled career pathways, support sustainable housing, promote community wellness, and create opportunities for employment and entrepreneurship.
