Regenerative Agriculture, Food Systems & Agritourism
SIUN advances regenerative agriculture centers, demonstration farms, community growing spaces, and agritourism experiences that support soil restoration, sustainable cultivation, food access, hunger relief, agricultural education, and responsible land stewardship. We collaborate with farmers, landowners, agricultural producers, educators, and community partners to identify appropriate uses for land and design initiatives that create long-term environmental, educational, and economic benefit.
Education, Workforce Development & Skilled Trades
We connect education with practical experience, coaching, certifications, apprenticeships, and employment pathways. Initiatives may include agriculture, construction, carpentry, equipment and machinery operation, food processing, renewable resource management, hospitality, entrepreneurship, and other mission-aligned skilled trades. Our goal is to equip youth and adults with transferable skills, professional confidence, and access to meaningful work, career advancement, and long-term economic mobility.
Sustainable Housing, Wellness & Wraparound Support
SIUN supports the development of sustainable housing and community-centered spaces that promote stability, safety, dignity, and well-being. Based on local needs and available partnerships, housing initiatives may be paired with wellness resources, life-skills education, transportation connections, educational support, workforce services, and other coordinated wraparound support. This integrated approach helps individuals and families address barriers, strengthen stability, and move toward greater independence and long-term security.
Economic Resilience & Community Enterprise
SIUN creates pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, cooperative development, small-business growth, and mission-aligned enterprise. By connecting land, workforce training, community services, technical assistance, and responsible revenue models, we help strengthen local economies and expand opportunities for self-sufficiency. These initiatives are designed to help individuals build income, develop enterprises, create jobs, and contribute to lasting community prosperity.
